Peter Veen

Peter Veen is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience in auditing and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Auditor at Kiwa, a Lead Auditor at DNV, and a Senior Advisor for Integrated Safety at de Rechtspraak, Peter assesses companies for compliance with ISO27001, NEN7510, and ISO9001 standards. As the Director and founder of V1 ProjectManagement & Consultancy since 2015, Peter manages physical and information security projects across various industries. Previous roles include Senior Lead Auditor and Lead Auditor positions at LRQA and DEKRA, along with a tenure as an Information Security Officer at Leiden University Medical Center. Peter holds a degree in Technical Computer Science from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and has a solid educational foundation in technical disciplines.
