Phil Ward

Phil Ward is a Senior Principal in Energy Systems at DNV, where they provide health, safety, and environmental consultancy focused on stakeholder obligations and performance improvement throughout project lifecycles. They previously held roles such as Principal Consultant at DNV GL and Manager of Safety & Environment at GL Noble Denton, specializing in minimizing environmental impacts in the oil and gas industry. Phil has extensive experience in environmental management systems and risk assessment, having also served as Head of Organic Chemistry at SOCOTEC and Senior Environmental Engineer at Germanischer Lloyd. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Leeds and have been recognized as both a chartered scientist and chartered environmentalist.
