Steve Hau has an extensive background in geotechnical engineering, holding the position of Principal Geotechnical Engineer at DNV since December 2005, following an earlier role as Staff Engineer at Fugro GeoConsulting Ltd from March 2004 to December 2005. Steve completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering at the University of Nottingham, where studies were conducted from 2000 to 2003, after earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering, with First Class honors, at the same institution from 1998 to 2000.
