Thomas Dirix

Thomas Dirix is a Principal Engineer in the Maritime sector at DNV, a position held since 2013. They previously served as a Senior Surveyor at Det Norske Veritas from 2005 to 2013 and worked as a Sales Support Engineer at Wärtsilä Switzerland from 2003 to 2005. Thomas began their maritime career as an Apprentice Maritime Officer at Seatrade N.V. from 1992 to 1993, advancing to a Maritime Officer at DockWise N.V. from 1994 to 1998. They also gained academic credentials, earning a BSc in Maritime Officer from HZ University of Applied Sciences and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
