Désirée Eien

Désirée Eien is a Senior Designer at DBT and brings her passion for design along with 15 years of professional experience to making websites for organizations of all sizes, including Greenpeace, Everytown for Gun Safety, and the San Francisco Foundation. Her goal is simple: to create beautiful, easy-to-use websites that empower clients to share their stories and connect with people in meaningful ways. Her latest interest is creating websites that meet accessibility guidelines in order to provide an inclusive online experience for the widest possible audience. She loves engaging with and mastering evolving technologies, because there are always new things to learn and new boundaries to push.

Désirée holds a B.F.A in Interdisciplinary Arts. Her first love was print typography, but today her focus is the ever-shifting landscape of the internet. Offline, Désirée has explored many crafts, including bookbinding, weaving, and making cyanotypes. She also enjoys collecting prisms and art books. She is often accompanied by her assistant, a fluffy orange tabby named Shishi.
