Ernest G. started their work experience at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1979 as a Principal Engineer, where they stayed until 1998. Ernest then joined Nexabit Networks as a Consulting Engineer from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they became the VP Hardware Engineering at Infiniswitch Corp, a startup manufacturing Infiniband switches and host adapters, from 2000 to 2003. Ernest then worked at Stargen as the Director of ASIC Development, where they led the team that delivered the industry's first PCIe-AS silicon and cards from 2004 to 2006.
