Gert van Beek is a Managing Consultant Procurement at Supply Value, bringing over 35 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics across various industries, including publishing and telecommunications. They have held significant roles at companies such as RELX Group, where they served as Director of Global IT Procurement, and have contributed to the NEVI, the Dutch Association for Purchasing Management, as Chairman of the CPD and Board Member. Currently, Gert serves as an Ambassador for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge and an Honorary Goodwill Ambassador for the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon, leveraging their extensive expertise in supplier relationship management and sustainable sourcing. Gert also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management.
