James Boorman has over 20 years of experience in operations and finance, focusing on empowering female entrepreneurs in Africa. Currently serving as the Head of Operations & Finance at Lionesses of Africa, they work to create pathways to capital and growth for women-led businesses across more than 50 countries. Previously, James held leadership roles at major firms such as TK Hockey Equipment Group and Calyon, where they were responsible for financial institutions across sub-Saharan Africa. James also has a strong academic background, holding a Master's degree in International Business Law and certifications in International Credit and Trade Finance.
