Andrius Chamentauskas

Andrius Chamentauskas has a strong background in web development, with experience in both back-end and front-end development. Andrius began their career at NECOLT as a Ruby on Rails Developer, where they developed web applications and gained experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Adobe Flash for user interfaces, particularly on mobile devices. Andrius then worked as a freelance web developer, where they developed parts of various web applications for clients using Ruby on Rails and Javascript. In 2015, they joined Toptal as a Principal Engineer, where they played a key role in developing the toptal.com platform using Ruby on Rails. During their time at Toptal, they worked on various tasks, including migrating to newer Rails versions, implementing business features, and improving the authorization system. Most recently, Andrius joined Docfield as a Senior Back-end Developer, where they are responsible for creating new APIs and updating existing ones for front-end use.

Andrius Chamentauskas completed their Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Vilnius University, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers from LinkedIn in May 2021.
