Florian Block is a Professor in Digital Creativity at the University of York, where professional experience includes roles as Reader in Digital Creativity and R&D Director at Weavr.tv from January 2016 to the present. Additionally, Florian Block serves as R&D Lead for AI and Immersive at dock10 and Co-Founder & Director at Fast Forward Innovation LTD, both roles initiated in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Previous experience includes a Research Associate position at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences from August 2010 to August 2015. Florian Block holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Lancaster University, acquired between 2006 and 2010.
