Kal De2

Kal De2 currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Products & Engineering for Cloud & Network Services at Nokia since April 2024, focusing on next-generation technologies for telecommunications and enterprise sectors. Concurrently, Kal De2 acts as an advisor for the Docker Technical Advisory Group. Prior to these roles, Kal De2 was Chief Technology Officer at Vista Equity Partners from August 2022 to March 2024, leading technology strategy for a vast B2B software portfolio. Kal De2 also served as General Manager of VMware Carbon Black, overseeing the security business unit and its cloud-native endpoint protection platform from January 2020 to August 2022, and held the role of VP of Engineering during the integration of Carbon Black Inc. into VMware. Earlier, Kal De2 briefly consulted as Advisory CTO for Mirantis. Kal De2 holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Virginia Tech and a degree in Information Systems from the University of California, Berkeley.
