Katlynn Shade began their career in 2020 as a Leasing Consultant for Van Metre Companies. In this role, they worked alongside new management to increase resident retention and occupancy among property, learned new software such as Rise, Brivo, and Engage essential to the successful management of Class-A luxury properties, and generated lease binding contracts explaining the management of funds credited for each seasonal special. In 2021, Katlynn Shade began working for Docketwise as a Customer Success Manager and Sales Development Representative. In their role as Customer Success Manager, they were responsible for onboarding new firms, assisting attorneys and document preparers with setting up their Docketwise account, and maintaining excellent client-support relationships. As a Sales Development Representative, their responsibilities included helping immigration attorneys and document preparers make filing as efficient as possible, being the point of contact for existing clients to implement updates to improve Docketwise, and conducting outreach to introduce services to qualified firms. Also in 2021, Katlynn Shade began working for Bozzuto as a Sales and Marketing Associate.

Katlynn Shade has a Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations from Austin Peay State University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2020. Katlynn also has an Associate of Arts - AA in General Studies from St. Petersburg College, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have four certifications: Social Media Marketing: Social CRM from LinkedIn obtained in November 2020, Networking Foundations: Networking Basics from LinkedIn obtained in September 2020, SEO for Social Media from LinkedIn obtained in September 2020, and a 60 Hour Pre-License Affiliate Broker Course from Real Estate Express obtained in October 2016.
