Yong Lee

VP Engineering at DocMatter

Yong Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Yong began their career as a Sr. Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin in 1995 and worked there until 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they served as an Engineering Manager at Instill Corporation. In 2000, Yong became a Sr. Architect at Fujitsu for a brief period. Yong then moved to Commendo Software in 2001, where they held the dual roles of Lead Software Architect and VP Engineering until 2003. In 2004, Yong worked as a Sr. Architect at Blueroads for a few months before joining Carnegie Mellon University in 2005 as a Sr. Systems Scientist. After leaving Carnegie Mellon in 2009, they worked at Locus Technologies as a Consultant from 2009 to 2011, and later became the VP of Software Engineering until 2014. Finally, Yong joined DocMatter as the VP of Engineering in 2014, where they are currently employed.

Yong Lee obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
