Devin Despain

Devin Despain has over 16 years of work experience. Devin began their career in 2004 as the Shop Manager at Piano Gallery. In 2008, they joined Fusion-io as an Engineering Intern and later became a Manufacturing Engineer. In 2014, they became a Senior Backend Developer at Igniter.io, where they were responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining the API interface and data services driving multiple frontend products. Devin also managed and contributed to multiple code repositories, maintained a working knowledge of current and upcoming web technologies, and worked with NodeJS/Actionhero, Angular, and Amazon Web Services. In 2015, they became a Founding Partner at Super Vitus. Finally, in 2020, they joined DOCPACE as a Senior Technical Lead.

Devin Despain obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah between 2006 and 2011. In February 2011, they obtained the IPC-A-610E PCBA Inspection and J-STD-001 Soldering and Workmanship certificates from IPC. In July 2012, they became a Certified Solidworks Associate from Dassault Systèmes.
