Anuj Sehgal has worked in various roles for a number of companies since 2002. Anuj began their career as a Research Associate at Brigham Young University - Hawaii, where they were responsible for the mechanical, electronic and software development of an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). In 2003, they completed an internship as a Software Developer at Software Factory Ltd., where they developed a national farmer census software for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fiji Govt. In 2005, they became a Systems Engineer at The I.T. Pros, working as an IT consultant servicing customers located in Southern California. In 2007, they were appointed President & Sr. Scientist at the Indian Underwater Robotics Society, where they founded India’s first research & education NGO dedicated to intelligent systems. In the same year, they also took on a role as a Student Research Assistant at Jacobs University Bremen, where they created an underwater robotics and acoustic communications simulator. In 2009, they returned to Jacobs University Bremen as a Research Associate, participating in the workings of several IETF Working Groups and designing SNMP MIBs for the IoT related RPL routing protocol and 6LoWPAN adaptation layers. In 2015, they joined Navomi as a Solutions Architect and Technical Consultant. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at HokoCloud. In 2018, they took on a similar role at NDM Global. Finally, in 2020, they returned to DocQ as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.
Anuj Sehgal has an extensive educational background. Anuj obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen in 2014, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the same university in 2009. Anuj also attended Brigham Young University–Hawaii from 2002 to 2004, studying Computer Science. Additionally, Anuj has obtained certifications from Jitterbit in Jitterbit Core and Jitterbit Foundations.
