Joan Ruiz

Joan Ruiz has worked in the software engineering field since 2009. Joan began their career as a research assistant at Universidad EAFIT, where they developed a custom evolutionary algorithm in C and C++ based on the NSGAII algorithm. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a software developer for Martian Interactive, Code My Concept, Lextrend, and Impact Fantasy Sports. During this time, they worked on back-end development, user experience, data mining, and code optimization. From 2013 to 2020, they worked as a software engineer and senior software engineer for Entrision LLC and Dropbox DocSend, respectively. During this time, they worked on multiple projects from planning to launch, and beyond, including requirement discussions with clients, developing, testing, and providing support.

Joan Ruiz attended Universidad EAFIT from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Computer Engineering with a focus in Computer Science.
