YuLi Chan

YuLi Chan has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. YuLi began their career in 2011 as a Software Engineer Intern at Cisco, where they worked collaboratively with internal business partners, marketers and/or other stakeholders around deliverables and provided practical recommendations to senior management level leaders. In 2012, they moved to Oculus VR as a Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, documented and maintained iOS applications. In 2015, they joined Dropbox DocSend as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Director of Software Engineering. In this role, they led a core team of engineers focused on meeting business needs and collaborated with key suppliers on design and process/workmanship ideas to reduce costs and drive their engineering efforts.

YuLi Chan attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Optical Engineering in Optical Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended the University of Oregon from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a B.S. in Physics with a focus on Physical Optics.
