Filippo Tonello has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Filippo is currently the Head of Marketing at Docsity, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, from 2018, Filippo worked as a Freelance Consultant, specializing in Project and Media Management. In 2021, they joined Hevelop as the Head of Marketing until December 2022. From 2020 to 2021, Filippo served as the Chief Operating Officer at Fornace, where they led teams, developed company goals, and managed media campaigns for clients such as AIA Food and Warner Bros. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager and Social Media Manager at Young Digitals, managing clients like Bayer Spa and The Space Cinema. Filippo also gained experience as a Social Media Manager at Cronaca Vera and held the positions of Junior Project Manager at Site by Site and Vintage Festival Italia.

Filippo Tonello's education history includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from EMBA Ticinensis, from 2019 to 2021.
