Chris Barrese has worked in the software engineering industry since 1997. Chris began their career as a Consultant at Kwasha Lipton, followed by a Senior Java Developer role at Prudential Financial. In 2011, they took on a Technical Architect/Senior Software Engineer role at Compass Group and a Software Architect role at Freelancers Union, where they added Continuous Integration and automated deployment to Java dev workflow and helped lay out design for data aggregation and warehousing of health insurance related EDI files. In 2013, they became a Principal Consultant at Cardinal Solutions and in 2016, they took on a Principal Software Engineer role at Ibotta, Inc. In 2018, they began working as a Lead Software Engineer at DocStation and as a Principal Software Engineer in Freelance Self-Employed.
Chris Barrese attended Binghamton University from 1993 to 1997, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Math.
