Ian Sharp Ph.D.

Ian Sharp Ph.D. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of DOCTORS IN TECH ® since January 2014, Ian has previously held roles such as a reviewer for EMBS from 2009 to 2013 and a research assistant at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There, Ian significantly reduced development time by creating software for robotic systems. Ian has also contributed as an IT consultant for the Cancer Prevention Coalition, enhancing subscriber rates through innovative digital solutions. Additionally, Ian founded EyeAthletics and co-founded AKUAware, focusing on educational software development and market assessment. Ian holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder.
