Daniel McCarter

Daniel McCarter has worked in the legal field since 2010. Daniel began their career as a Law Clerk at Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan in 2010. In 2013, they became an Attorney at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz. Daniel then moved to Hamilton Westby Antonowich & Anderson in 2014 and Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers in 2015. In 2016, they became the Outside General Counsel for McCarter Legal, LLC. Currently, they are the In-House Counsel and Director of Legal Solutions for Docufree, where they provide legal counsel, drafts and negotiates SaaS agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts, and advises the company on compliance issues related to processing personally identifiable and protected health information. Additionally, they consult with legal teams to migrate historical documents into digital systems and identify inefficient or broken operational processes. Prior to their legal career, they were the Owner of Blue Strings Guitar from 2007-2010.

Daniel McCarter attended Georgia State University College of Law from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a JD in Law. Daniel then attended The University of Georgia from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a BA in Political Science and Philosophy.
