DocuHealth Services is a secure digital health record system that gives patients lifelong access to their medical history anytime, anywhere in Nigeria. The platform is built to ensure continuity of care by allowing essential medical information to follow patients seamlessly, even when they change hospitals or relocate.

How It Works

Each patient is assigned a unique Health Identification Number (HIN), securely linked to the patient’s National Identification Number (NIN) for accurate identity verification and to prevent duplicate records. Hospitals use the HIN to update and retrieve patient information on the DocuHealth platform.

To protect privacy and institutional integrity, full clerking details and internal hospital records remain stored exclusively within the originating hospital. DocuHealth accepts and transfers only standardized medical summaries to the patient’s profile. These summaries may include diagnoses, treatment summaries, test results, and vaccination records ensuring that critical health information is accessible without exposing sensitive internal documentation.
