Shawn Lakin

Shawn Lakin is an accomplished stylist and Senior Fashion Editor at Document Journal, with a diverse background in the fashion and art industries. Shawn's freelance work as a stylist has been ongoing since January 2015, complementing experience as a Buying Intern at Creatures of Comfort and as a Gallery Intern/Assistant at Kai Matsumiya. Previous roles include Casting Intern at Saint Laurent and Fashion Intern at Dazed & Confused, where responsibilities ranged from organizing fashion samples to assisting in shoots. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design and previously studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, alongside a high school diploma from Cranbrook Kingswood.
