Mark Peterson

Mark Peterson is a seasoned technology leader with over 27 years of experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at DocuSign since October 2021, Mark drives innovation in client-side web stack modernization, utilizing technologies such as React and micro-front end architecture. Previously at Microsoft from 1994 to October 2021, Mark held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Software Engineering and Group Engineering Manager for Teams Messaging, where Mark was instrumental in scaling Microsoft Teams from 100,000 to 115 million daily active users. Other notable positions include managing engineering teams across SharePoint, Visio, and Office Foundation Services, contributing to significant advancements in cloud infrastructure and product development.
