Matt Roberts

Matt Roberts is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at DocuSign, where integration of Clause's technology and team expansion for 1.2 million customers is a primary focus. At Accord Project, Matt holds the roles of Chair of the Technical Steering Committee and Maintainer, contributing significant technical leadership. Previously, as Director of Engineering at Clause, Matt successfully built a remote-first engineering team and transitioned the product from MVP to market-fit. Earlier experience at IBM as a Cloud Solutions Architect involved supporting substantial license revenue and designing automation solutions, while initial roles included technical sales support. Matt's career began as a Labs Intern at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, and academic credentials include a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
