Nikhil Patel

Nikhil Patel is the Vice President of Engineering at DocuSign, leading the development of the Intelligent Agreement Platform, which includes a Structured Data platform. Previously, Nikhil served as a Senior Director of Engineering at DocuSign, focusing on the Smart Agreements Platform and innovative workflows. As an advisor at Finaxar since August 2017 and part of Microsoft from January 2002 to January 2021, Nikhil held several key positions, including Engineering Leader for the Azure Data Platform, where notable achievements included the creation of the Azure Database Migration Service and contributions to hybrid cloud services with Azure Arc. Nikhil began their career at Microsoft as a Software Engineer and advanced through roles that emphasized cloud management and Bing Ads syndication. Nikhil holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
