Steven Crowley

Steven Crowley, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Indirect Tax at Docusign, providing global leadership in U.S. indirect tax responsibilities since January 2023. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Senior Manager - Multistate Tax at Deloitte from November 2009 to January 2023, where responsibilities included optimizing clients' indirect tax functions and compliance. Steven began a career in tax at KPMG LLP, first as a State and Local Tax Intern in June 2007 and then as a State Tax Associate from August 2008 to October 2009, focusing on tax returns, audit defense, and financial data reconciliation. In academia, Steven gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois, working on executive compensation studies and analyzing financial data in the Agricultural Biotech sector. Steven holds a Master's degree in Accounting with a focus on Taxation from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution.
