Wilfred Schmidt

Wilfred Schmidt is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading and developing backend and full-stack technologies. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at DocuSign since July 2020, Wilfred previously held positions at Amazon Web Services as a Senior Software Engineer focused on EC2 Spot, and at Zynga as a Principal Software Engineer, where contributions included designing backend technologies for high-demand gaming services. During tenure at Zynga, Wilfred also worked on multiple game titles, achieving significant monthly active user milestones. Earlier in the career, Wilfred worked at Microsoft Corporation in various engineering capacities, contributing to products such as Exchange, Microsoft CRM, and Microsoft Forefront, focusing on transport protocols, performance optimization, and scalability.
