James Ryan

James Ryan, CFE, serves as a Special Agent with the DoD Inspector General Defense Criminal Investigative Service since November 2012, holding various leadership roles, including Acting Program Manager for Training and COVID-19 Fraud. Concurrently, Ryan is an Adjunct Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and Southern New Hampshire University, developing courses in cybercrime investigations and instructing on criminal justice communication and technology. Previous experience includes teaching Forensic Accounting at King's College and working as a Special Agent with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command and U.S. Army Audit Agency, focusing on procurement fraud and international contract corruption. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor's in Accounting from King's College, and multiple graduate certificates in Project Management and Cyber Security.
