John Dippel

John Dippel serves as the Director of the Violent Crime Division at the Department of Defense Inspector General since September 2010, where responsibilities include investigative policy and oversight. Previously, John held the position of Supervisory Special Agent - Operations Officer at the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command from March 1987 to September 2010. Education includes completion of the FBI National Academy in 2009, a Master's in Security Management from the American Public University System, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Saint Leo University. Additionally, John is pursuing a Student Doctorate in Strategic Security from the Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security.
