Stephen Gardner

Stephen Gardner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in federal investigations, currently serving as a Senior Special Agent with the Department of Defense Inspector General since March 2007. In this role, Stephen investigates crimes against the Department of Defense across various judicial districts and provides security for high-ranking defense officials. Previous positions include Special Agent roles within the Department of Defense, where Stephen led high-profile investigations, and a significant tenure at the U.S. Secret Service, where responsibilities included managing the Basic Investigations of Computers and Electronic Crimes Program. Stephen holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Samford University, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Marion Military Institute.
