Tera Powell is currently an Inspector General at the DoD Inspector General, a position held since 2017. Previously, Tera served as Company Commander in the Alabama Army National Guard from 2010 to 2013 and as Battalion Adjutant from 2013 to 2014, where Tera was the principal human resource advisor overseeing personnel operations for 900 service members. Tera also worked as a Logistics Officer in the US Army from 2004 to 2009 and briefly in customer care at Heil Environmental from 2013 to 2015. Tera holds a BA in History and Sociology from The University of Alabama, completed in 2004.
