Barbara Thompson

Barbara Thompson has a diverse background in the food service industry, with significant experience in operations and training. Starting as a Kitchen Manager at TGI Fridays from 1983 to 1989, Barbara advanced to serve as a Training Unit Manager at Sizzler USA from 1989 to 1996. Barbara then held the position of Director of Operations at Hmshost in Jersey Gardens Mall from 1996 to 2014. In addition to professional roles, Barbara contributed to the community as a volunteer with the Parsippany Police Athletic League from 2008 to 2015. Currently, Barbara is the General Manager at Doherty Enterprises, a position held since December 2023. Barbara holds an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts and Related Services from Johnson and Wales University, earned between 1980 and 1982.
