Mieke Commandeur

Mieke Commandeur currently serves as the Treasurer for the non-profit foundation 20Hertz since February 2022 and as an Account Manager for Benelux at DöhlerGroup since March 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Student Assistant at Wageningen University & Research, where assistance was provided to the Department of Food Chemistry, and internships at Tetra Pak, where functionality of plant-based proteins was investigated, and Givaudan Netherlands B.V., focusing on product development in the beverages sector. Mieke has also held positions as a Graduate Intern at Interbanket B.V., conducting food fraud assessments, and as a Marketing Support Analyst at Bureau van Dijk. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Food Technology from Wageningen University & Research, alongside a thesis from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor's degree in Food Commerce & Technology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and pre-university education at OSG West-Friesland.
