Steve Matthews

Steve Matthews has extensive experience in software testing and automation, currently serving as the Director of Testing and Senior Test Automation Engineer at Cabiri since January 2020, where expertise in Cypress and TypeScript frameworks supports serverless middleware and a React web application for Debenhams. Previous roles include Senior Member of Technical Staff (SDET) at VMware, Principal SDET at CloudHealth Technologies, and Principal Consultant at Test Evolve. Matthews also held the position of Test Lead at e2x Limited, focusing on a multi-national implementation of Oracle Commerce while implementing a Ruby-based Cucumber/BDD framework. Educationally, Matthews holds a BA Hons in Contemporary Music from The Academy Of Contemporary Music, completed in 2004.
