Alex A

Alex A is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Founding Designer at Doji since February 2025. Previously, Alex held the position of Staff Product Designer at Shopify from May 2023 to February 2025, contributing to the Shop app through a comprehensive redesign, the development of AI strategy, and leading design initiatives for the growth organization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Product Designer at Universe, where Alex led the design of commerce tools, and as Product Designer at Block Renovation, tasked with designing solutions for homeowners, contractors, and architects. Alex also gained early experience as a Product Design Intern at Intuit, focusing on product design for small businesses. An alumnus of the University of Washington, Alex earned a Bachelor of Design in Interaction Design in 2020.
