Melissa Lopez, PCQI, is an experienced food safety and quality assurance professional with a robust background in managing food safety programs and quality systems across various companies. Currently serving as the FSQA Audit, Process Innovation and Governance Manager at Dole Food Company, Melissa has previously held significant roles, including Food Safety Manager at Valley Pride, Inc. and Quality Assurance Manager at Silver Bay Seafoods, LLC. With a degree in Biology from Cabrillo College and a background in Business Administration from San Jose State University, Melissa has successfully constructed and maintained HACCP plans, led multiple audits, and implemented comprehensive quality programs throughout her career.
