Steve Brophy

Steve Brophy is the Vice President of Public Policy and Government Relations at Dollar General, a role held since 2019. Brophy previously served as Director of Government Affairs at Van Scoyoc Associates and held various positions, including Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman Marsha Blackburn and Projects Director for U.S. Senator Fred Thompson. Earlier in their career, Brophy was a Special Assistant to the Director of Research for the Presidential Commission on Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces. Brophy holds a Master's in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Middle Tennessee State University.
