Tim Hatten

Tim Hatten, CFI, LPC, is an experienced professional in loss prevention and asset protection with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Regional Asset Protection Manager at Dollar General since September 2016, Tim Hatten focuses on enhancing shrink awareness across all stores and conducting training for management and associates. Previous roles include Assistant Store Manager at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where customer service and sales were prioritized, and positions in loss prevention at various retailers including Lowe's, Sears, and Wal-Mart, where responsibilities ranged from managing shrinkage budgets to investigating theft. Tim Hatten holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Business Education from the University of Louisiana Monroe and has completed notable training with the Loss Prevention Foundation, augmented by military service in the National Guard.
