Maureen Rey

Maureen Rey has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles. Most recently, they worked as the Director of the Legal Department at Dollarcity starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Legal LATAM at Sanofi from November 2017 to November 2019, and also served as the Legal Manager LATAM at Sanofi from November 2014 to 2019. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Manager of Legal & Compliance at Samsung Electronics Latinoamérica from May 2006 to November 2014. Maureen'sexperience also includes a role as the National Legal Director at the Panamanian Antitrust & Consumer Protection Agency from May 1998 to April 2006.

Maureen Rey completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Universidad de Panamá, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In 2003, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Economic Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Additionally, they attended the INCAE Business School, where they obtained a postgraduate qualification in Legal Issues of International Business. Maureen also earned a Master's degree in Commercial Law from the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua.
