Emma Alexander

Emma Alexander is a Senior Scientist I at Domainex since May 2023, specializing in integrated medicinal chemistry for client-based projects. Emma completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on organic synthesis in bio-orthogonal chemistry, with a viva pending in early October 2024. Previous experience includes a 3-month placement at Domainex during the PhD program, as well as an industrial placement at MedImmune, where Emma investigated peptide aggregation methods. Emma's foundational work experience includes roles at Benugo and BB's Coffee and Muffins, where customer service and café management were key responsibilities. Emma holds an MChem with Industrial Placement in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
