Daniel Schwalbe serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of IT at DomainTools since January 2022. With a long-standing affiliation with the University of Washington since December 1999, Daniel teaches 300-level undergraduate cybersecurity courses and has held several key positions, including Director & Associate CISO, Assistant Director of Security Services, and Lead Security Engineer, where efforts focused on incident response and digital forensics. Additionally, Daniel founded HansDampf Inc. in 1999, which has spawned several successful spin-off businesses. Prior experience includes roles at Farsight Security, Inc. as VP Engineering & Deputy CISO, and service as a Sergeant in the US Army from November 1998 to December 2003. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Washington.
