Josh Horne is a seasoned hardware engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Currently serving as a Hardware Engineer at Domatic since March 2024, Josh specializes in developing hardware for low voltage DC smart building systems. Prior experience includes working as CTO and Hardware Engineer at a stealth startup, where Josh led the creation of a vertically integrated smart home and designed various hardware components. As co-founder and CEO of Portal Entryways, Inc. from 2017 to 2022, Josh demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Previous roles also include advisory positions at the BYU Rollins Center and engineering responsibilities at Monovo, along with sales management and representation roles in the environmental and pest control sectors. Josh's education includes participation in Y Combinator and an Associate of Arts degree from Green River Community College.
