Peter Macdonald has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 2011. Peter started their career as a Qualification Verification Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, followed by a role as an R&D Engineer at JDSU. In 2013, they worked as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Solantro Semiconductor Corp and a Machine Learning Data Management role at Porfiau. Peter then worked as an Electrical Engineer at Thalmic Labs from 2014-2015, and a Mechatronics Engineer at Antimatter Research, Inc. from 2015-2018. In 2011, they also had a role as a Web Developer at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, where they modified existing web frameworks and evaluated new technologies using Java servers, Javascript, HTML, XSL, CSS, ASP, and PHP.
Peter Macdonald completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 2010 and 2015.
