Michael Boland has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1978 as Counsel for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. In 1984, they became Chief Counsel and Floor Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives Republican Whip. In 1987, they co-founded Boland & Madigan, one of Washington's leading lobbying firms. In 2001, they moved to Verizon as Senior Vice President for Federal Legislative Affairs. In 2003, they became a Partner at Johnson, Madigan, Peck, Boland, and Stewart. In 2004, they became an Independent Director for the National Stock Exchange, Inc. In 2008, they founded Dome Advisors LLC, a policy and political risk advisory firm. In 2015, they founded Dome Compass, a secure, inclusive, nonpartisan platform designed for policy professionals. Additionally, they are a contributor to Tim Farley's Morning Briefing SiriusXM Radio's P.O.T.U.S. Channel.
Michael Boland completed their high school education at Georgetown Preparatory School in 1971. Michael then attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1975 with an A.B. in Government & International Relations. Michael continued their studies at Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 1978 with a J.D. in Law.
