John Morgan

John Morgan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. John began their career at Rage Productions as a Video Producer from September 2008 to November 2009. John then worked at 3 Peaks Studio as a Web Developer from April 2008 to April 2014. In 2013, they co-founded Beeline and served as a Co-founder & Engineer from November 2013 to March 2014.

From 2012 to 2014, John worked at BYU-Idaho, initially as a Junior Software Developer where they designed, developed, and deployed an iOS and Android app, as well as a website. John then became a Program Manager, managing a team of graphic designers, content developers, and web developers, and leading the rebranding efforts of various marketing channels.

Since 2014, John has been employed at Domo, Inc. John'sroles include Data Visualization Software Engineer from April 2014 to April 2016, where they focused on BI/Reporting, data visualization, and UI. John moved on to become a Software Engineer at Domo Labs from April 2016 to October 2017, designing, developing, and improving features of Domo's business platform. John then transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead from March 2019 to July 2020, and subsequently served as an Engineering Manager, Enterprise Applications from July 2020 to October 2021. Currently, John is working as the Director of Engineering at Domo, Inc. since July 2021. Throughout their tenure at Domo, they have been involved in building custom solutions, leading the design and development process for complex business problem projects, and utilizing various technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, and RESTful Web Services.

John Morgan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from Brigham Young University - Idaho. John attended the university from 2012 to 2014. In addition, they received a certification in Six Sigma and Lean from Pivotal Resources in March 2014.
