Rick Arnold worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Domo, Inc., a business intelligence and data analytics technology company, from November 2015 onwards. In this role, they provided legal support, including contract drafting and negotiating, to various departments within the company.
Prior to that, Rick worked as a Private Practice Attorney specializing in Real Estate, Corporate, Municipal/County, and Litigation. From January 2000 to November 2015, they provided legal services to individuals, corporations, cities, counties, and others in matters related to real estate entitlements and development. Rick also handled general business matters such as commercial transactions, incorporation, contract disputes, and associated litigation.
Rick's earlier experience includes working as an Attorney/Law Clerk at the Utah Supreme Court under Chief Justice Richard C. Howe. In this role, they provided various legal services to the Chief Justice, including legal analysis, attending oral arguments, conducting research, and drafting court decisions. Rick was also responsible for reviewing and editing court opinions before their release and general publication.
Rick Arnold attended Brigham Young University from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Rick then pursued further education at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Law.
