Davis Moravec

Davis Moravec has a strong background in chemistry and materials, with a majority of their work experience being at Donaldson. Davis started at Donaldson in 2013 as a Senior Chemist and was promoted to Principal Scientist in 2016. They then took on the role of Engineering Manager in 2020 before becoming the Director of Materials & Chemistry in 2022. Prior to their time at Donaldson, Davis was a Chemist at 3M and University of Chicago, where they were also a Graduate Student. Davis also gained research experience at the University of Minnesota as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.

Davis Moravec earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota in the years 2002 to 2006. Davis then pursued further studies at the University of Chicago, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 2008 and later completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from the same university in the years 2008 to 2013.
