Gerald Lindner

Principal Program Manager

Gerald Lindner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Principal Program Manager at Donaldson since September 2023, Gerald is involved in setting up and validating a new class 6 clean room and leading the startup of a new bioprocess device. Prior to this role, Gerald spent 28 years at Medtronic, progressing through various positions including Sr. Principal Program Manager, where responsibilities included managing complex projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $5 million. Gerald also established and led the Operations Technology group, achieving 22 patents in innovative manufacturing methodologies for neurological devices. Additionally, expertise in developing manufacturing processes for medical devices, particularly in interconnect technologies, was demonstrated through leading significant projects such as the creation of a semi-automated welding workstation. Gerald holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota and completed studies in Project Management at the Institute of Project Management Professional.
