Jake Savstrom

Director Of Membrane Technology at Donaldson

Jake Savstrom has a strong background in engineering and has held various roles throughout their career. Jake started working at Donaldson in 2004, where they began as a Lab Technician for Diesel Emissions Research. Over the years, they progressed to roles such as Lead Project Engineer, Sr. Applications Engineer, and Reliability Team Lead. From 2011 to 2016, they excelled as a Principal Engineer, where they developed a globally deployed CAE infrastructure and implemented knowledge management tools for the company. In 2016, they became the Advanced Research and Development Manager for Fiber Technology and eventually transitioned to the role of Director of Membrane Technology in 2020. In addition to their tenure at Donaldson, they also worked independently as an Engineering Consultant from 2002 to 2005.

Jake Savstrom received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2002. Jake then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Diesel Emissions Research and Aerosol Mechanics from the same university from 2002 to 2004.
